Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidery, cut-edge patch which does not fluoresce under a UV light. Green cotton reverse, light age and wear. The Lightening Division served in the European Theater during WWII, arriving in France in June and July 1944.It fought in four campaigns in 248 days of combat, suffering the loss of 15,200 casualties.
