Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidered, cut-edge patch which does not fluoresce under a UV light. Green cotton reverse. Normal age and wear.The 79th, Cross of Lorraine Division, landed in Normandy on June 12th 1944. It saw 248 days of combat in4 campaigns, suffering the loss of 15,200 casualties.
