Original period manufacture. Enameled badge with a screwback reverse, made by NS Meyer. Assigned to the Pacific prior to the Pearl Harbor Attack, six of it's B-17's landed in Hawaii on December 7th 1941. Later assigned to bases in Java, then India, where the flew the Hump to attack the Japanese and deliver supplies.
