Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidery, cut-edge patch which does not fluoresce under a UV light. Green cotton reverse with an OD border, light age and wear. This design was first approved in November 1918, and was continued for wear when the Corps was reactivated in November 1940, with a design change in 1944.The 7th Corps served in the European Theater during WWII, returning to the United States in July 1945.
