Original era issue. US WWII 822nd Tank Destroyer lot of three ID tags, one from a 1983 reunion, 2 shoulder sleeve insignia, one 4 wheel and one 8 wheeled, a Christmas Card with an 8-wheeled emblem on the front, and three veteran reunion badges, two of which are named to Bill McGuire of Co. B, 822nd Tank Destroyer Bn. Raised in 1942, it arrived in Le Havre France in early January 1945. During the campaigns of Rhineland and Central Europe, the 822nd served with the 36th and 63rd Infantry Divisions.
