Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidery, cut-edge patch which does not fluoresce under a UV light. Green cotton reverse, light age and wear. The 86th Infantry Division served in the European Theater during WWII, arriving in France in early 1945. It served in one campaign, suffering the loss of 785 casualties in 34 days of combat.
