Original period manufacture. A large size flying helmet by Swan Shoe Company, marked property of Army Air Forces US Army.Chamois lined helmet with R-14 receivers in each earcup, no connecting wires are present. The helmet is sound, pliable leather with clear markings, but appears to be missing part of the connecting buckle. The helmet comes with a pair of original AN-6530 goggles with green glass lenses. The white elastic head band is a replacement. The rubber face pad is pliable, but the metal frames have pulled away from the pad on one side.
