Original era manufacture. US WWII Aerial Nurse Corps of America jacket.Aerial Nurse Corps was founded in 1936 by Lauretta Schimmoler. She was also the first woman to establish and manage an airport. Aerial Nurses Corps of America was the forerunner of the USAF Flight Nurses Corps.32 inch chest24 inches long22 inches sleeve lengthA couple of small soiling spots on the back, one moth hole on the right sleeve.All buttons are present. The pockets Nurse cloth insignia is intact as well as theshoulder sleeve insignia which has a red airplane embroidered on it.This is the first Aerial Nurse Corps of America uniform we have had and the history is very interesting.
