Original era manufacture. Cotton embroidery on wool felt, which does not fluoresce under a UV light. Slightly smaller than the typically encountered example,  measuring 60 x 75 mm.Airborne Troop Carrier personnel participated in every major airborne operation conducted by the United States, in all theaters during WWII, and in thousands of single-plane missions without fighter escort.
