Original era manufacture. Slot brooch ribbon with it's original bar. The medal was established in June of 1941 by FDR to honor those who served in the military from 1939 until December 7 1941. The Foreign Service Bar was presented for military service outside of the continental United States.m 1939 until December 7 1941.
