Original period manufacture. A nice grouping to one individual who lived locally. DuringWWII he served with theAmerican Field Service in North Africa, seeing service with the British 8th Army as well.He earned a Bronze Star and was presented aPurple Heart, along with several British WWII campaign medals.The lot includes; British Red Cross armband, stamped Army Medical Service, a pinback Combat Medic Badge, American Field Service shoulder "rocker", twoBritish 8th Army epaulette slides(each different), his dogtag, maroon and white piping from his overseas hatand an assortment of ribbons from his American and Britishawards.All of this resides in a WWII issue Bronze Star medal case. Normal age and wear overall.
