Original era manufacture. A very clean pair of original aviator's goggles by American Optical, and in their original box of issue.Yellow tinted plastic lenses (they do not feel like glass), with chromed metal frames and gray rubber face pads. The original elastic fabric headband is in place, and is not torn or stretched, still has some give to it.The set comes with extra lenses in their original paper wrapping. The stenciling says 3 pairs included, which I believe are there. I didn't unwrap the bundle to check as I didn't want to damage the wrapping. However the package is thick enough to warrant 3 sets to be inside.The goggles are in very clean condition, the only issue to report is that the rubber face pads have stiffened with age, but are securely attached to the frames.Very sound original storage box with its packing material intact.
