US WWII American Women's Volunteer Service uniform set. (AWVS)This set includes a jacket, skirt, sleeve insignia, 2 ribbon bars and three pins.All AWVS buttons are present.This is a large sized uniform. The skirt has a 30 inch waist and is 23 inches long. There is a very large hem and a hand stitched waistband.The jacket has a 36 inch bust and is 26 inches long. 22 inch long sleeves.There is a cloth American Women's Voluntary Services sleeve insignia and a metal pin on the front to match. A tab for Huntington. We know there are several cities named Huntington in various states and are not sure which state this would represent. There is a nice enameled World War II American Red Cross pin on the front and a small American Red Cross Blood Donor metal pin on the front as well.
