Original period manufacture. A rather unique WWII fighting knife produced by the Anderson Knife Company of Glendale California. It features a gray plastic grip and a 8 inch steel blade made from a cut-down US M1913 Cavalry Sword. The blade is bright with scattered areas of staining and cleaned surface corrosion. Proper pattern leather sheath is very well made but may be post WWII production.
