Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidered cut-edge patch, with a separate matching construction tab. This is a married set, meaning that while both are original, the tab was not necessarily with the patch since WWII.The 82nd "All American" division fought in seven campaigns during WWII, North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Market Garden and the Bulge, among them.The division was credited with 422 days of combat, suffering the loss of 6,993 casualties.
