Original era manufacture. A beautiful pair of original Airborne Jump Boots in a nice large size, 10 1/2 C.These are complete with their original rawhide laces, the soles displaying minimal wear and use.These boots were part of a large US WWI & WWII collection we purchased earlier this year. The collector obtained the boots from his neighbor, a WWII veteran, who participated in the last US Airborne jump of WWII, Operation Varsity, the Rhine Jump in March 1945. I am certain these boots were not worn by the veteran that day, but where part of his effects that returned with him to Wyoming after WWII.  Somewhere we have the notes our collector friend provided us with the information on the original owner of the boots...somewhere. When we find them we will provide that information to the new owner.
