Original era manufacture. Rough finished blade with a factory applied edge, measuring 18 inches in length, with clear markings and 1945 date. Olive plastic grip which is secured with four, flushground brass rivets.Dark OD canvas scabbard, clean, well marked, with a metal reinforced throat. While typing up this description, I noticed that three of the edge rivets are biting into the fabric of the canvas a bit, not pulled through, but starting. Otherwise the scabbard is sound, normal age and wear.
