Original era manufacture. Olive green poplin shell, with an OD wool blanket lining. Talon marked zipper pull, the zipper works properly, with no missing teeth, all brown plastic buttons are present.The exterior of the jacket is clean, no holes, tears, or major staining, just normal age and wear, no fraying to the back edge of the collar. The cuffs have been repaired, shortened a bit on the left arm, and on the right a sew section has been installed from another "donor" 41 Field Jacket. The brown plastic adjusting buttons are present.   Collector applied matched pair of Staff Sgt chevrons, which are machine sewn to the arms, with hand-sewn Army Air Corps SSI on the left shoulder along with 29th Division insignia.Overall a very sound example of the classic WWII US Army combat jacket in a decent size.
