Model 1940 Army Nurse Jacket with self belt. This blue shade blouse was made of covert cloth, a blend of wool or worsted yarn, blended with cotton, rayon or silk. It has two bellows pockets at the bodice. The front is secured by three gold standard army buttons.The shoulder straps are piped in maroon, the medical department branch of service color and the stripes on the sleeves are of maroon mohair.There are a couple of small moth nips as noted in the pictures. Size 16R which is a size 5 in todays sizes.
