Original era manufacture. Often attributed to Airborne use. Corps of Engineers marked on the reverse of the casing. Made by Superior Magneto of Long Island NY a prolific maker of compasses for the US military during WWII. Has a OD canvas wrist strap, still points North, normal age and wear.
