Original era manufacture. Often attributed to Airborne use. Corps of Engineers marked on the reverse of the casing. Made by Superior Magneto of Long Island NY a prolific maker of compasses for the US military during WWII. Needs a wrist strap, no longer liquid filled, but points North with no problem.
