Original era manufacture. A beautiful condition WWII Army Officer visor hat, with retailer information on the inside top from Knox, New York. Dark olive fur felt top, with a lighter OD woven cap band. High gloss finish to the adjustable chinstrap, and mounted type chinstrap on the back. Supple brown leather sweatband, securely sewn to the hat body. On the front of the hat is gilded officers pattern eagle with polished highlights.  The hat is not crushed or damaged, with zero moth damage. Size about a 7 1/4. Identified to a Colonel Ralph James Mitchell, US Army.
