Original era manufacture. This is such a cool thing, a desktop telephone directory, leather cover, decorated with a gilt image of Big Ben on the front. Inside, arranged in alphabetical order are the telephone exchanges for a number of US Army units stationed in wartime Britain. The phone numbers reflect a wide variety of US units, from AAA battalions, to numbered Infantry divisions including the 82nd and 11th Armored division. Named in two places Major Jesse L. Nelson, providing a solid basis for further research.
