Original period manufacture. Officers quality dark OD "elastique" ribbed wool hat with black & gold piping. Imitation silk lining with a brown leather sweatband. 1942 dated tag stitched into the lining seam. Sweatband stitchinghas loosened up on one side, quite sound for display.
