Original era manufacture. Heavy, fine quality winter parka with an alpaca lining. Light OD cotton poplin body with an attached hood with a zippered top. Clear issue tag as shown, with a 1942 date, size marked 40 regular. One small 1/4 inch tear in the back, comes with a cloth waistbelt with black painted metal buckle. The only minor detraction to note would be that the face covering buttons at the neck have been resewn, and may be replacements, as several colors of buttons were used. Also the shade of color on the belt differs slightly from that of the parka. You could sleep in a snow bank wearing this thing.
