Original era manufacture. Classic WWII Army Air Corps style officers crusher hat in olive brown ribbed wool. The visor stitching is sound as is the stitching for the leather sweatband. Shows normal age and wear with the famed 50 Mission Crush to the sides. At some point the visor and chinstraps had a black dye applied over the original brown color. Perhaps this can be removed, some of the black finish comes away with a little scratching from a fingernail. Gilt brass eagle insignia. Size about a 6 1/2. There are a few moth pinholes in the top.
