Original era manufacture. A blade marked example, US M3-UTICA, with a decent amount of the original blade finish remaining. Evidence of an old intelligent sharpening, no nicks or chips. Mix of steel patina finish and parkerization to the guard and pommel, with a sound stacked leather grip, no missing or cracked segments. Just normal wear and use. Ordnance bomb proofed on the top of the pommel. US M8 early pattern scabbard made without the provision for the M1910 belt hook. Shows light service use and wear.
