Original era manufacture. An early production USMC utility knife made by KaBar Olean N.Y. on one side of the blade and USMC on the other. Mix of blue and steel patina finish on the blade, which retains it's proper configuration, no real corrosion issues. Thick steel pommel with a circular tang. Sound russet leather scabbard of sewn and riveted construction with an intact pommel strap. A solid service used WWII knife.
