Original period publication. SB, War Department Publication, 1943, 77 pages with appendix. An early WWII manual on the mysteries of the German Army, uniforms, insignia, decorations and more. No doubt this little book provided the basic information source for many early collections in the early 1950's.The book displays considerable wear and use, stains, dog-eared pages, childish scribbles on the covers...still a neat old thing.
