Original period manufacture. Gray wool felt purse as used by the young women of the Cadet Nurse Corps program.Both are in excellent condition, showing light age and wear.Purses are hard to find and in good condition even harder. They got used during and after the war. This one looks like it has been in storage and not used much if at all. An example of this purse can be seen in the book "Dressed for Duty", Volume 1, page 285.
