Original era manufacture. US Cadet Nurse striped summer uniform.Shoulder strap with one Maltese cross and two buttons. Metal lapel insignia, all buttons present and shoulder sleeve insignia. The US Cadet Nurse Corps was founded in 1943.As stated in Volume One Dressed for Duty:The Cadet Nurse wears gray and red because gray symbolized mercy, serenity and understanding, red - strength, courage and inspiration.
