Original era manufacand triture. A clean US WWII canteen, cup and cover set. Very tall cover of light OD, U.S. stencil, with a post production U.S.M.C. stencil in smaller lettering above. Maker marked J.Q.M.D. 1944.  WWII stainless steel canteen, Vollrath 1944 with cork, and an alloy cup with a folding steel handle, S.M. Co. 1944. . A very solid example of the WWII GI canteen. All markings look period, typical age and wear, no real damage.
