Original era manufacture. A near new example of the US Army issue trouser belt, light OD canvas with a darkened brass adjusting buckle. Size marked 40, and maker marked, US J.Q.M.D. 1945.I measured the belt just to make sure, and the length from the middle of the buckle to the end of the tab is 39 inches.
