Original period manufacture. Unopened, US Army OD painted, metal bodied Carlisle bandage, residing in a single snap, pointed flap, light OD canvas belt pouch. The pouch colors are strong, clear U.S. stenciling, and a makers marking on the reverse, of Bearse Mfg.  Co 1942. Pretty much storage wear only on the bandage, light wear and use on the pouch. The initial of the last name of the GI, and the last four digits of his service number are written on the reverse of the pouch.
