Original era manufacture. Heavy, wide 6 inch blade which is maker marked on the ricasso. The blade has been sharpened with a fair sized nick in the cutting edge. Decent stacked leather grip with a heavy steel pommel. Original brown leather scabbard shows scuffing and wear from age and use.The stacked leather grip is basically sound but does show some denting from service use. One of the souvenirs of Pvt J.F.Vojtech USMC, who participated in a number of assault operations while assigned to the USMC 5th Corps.
