Original era manufacture. Brightly polished 6 inch steel blade with a stacked leather grip. The blade retains its factory edge and shows some minor age discoloration and light pitting on its surface. The stacked leather grip is sound, one cracked leather disc just abover the guard, no missing pieces and the pommel is secure. The original leather scabbard is sound, showing some light surface dryness but no rot. All rivets are in place and the stitching is sound. Classic WWII private purchase fighting/utility knife, really fits the hand well.
