All cotton construction consisting of two panels, one red, one white, with an x-stitched white number 14 on the red portion, and a stitched  letter C on the white. The guidon is sleeved on the hoist for affixing to a thin rod. Not sure of the age of this but can say that it does not glow under a UV light and is stoutly made. Shows wear and use. The 14th Cavalry was inactivated in 1942.
