Original period manufacture. An unusual example of the classic theater made CBI patch of WWII. Normally these are found embroidered, either in colored cotton thread or fine silver wire. This one has been produced using stamped silver metal insignia, with painted highlights,  which are then pinned to the backing cloth. Blue cotton covered reverse with three snaps to attach the insignia to the uniform.
