Original period manufacture. This is one of those goofy relics that we just fall in love with at first glance. What we have is a totally handmade 2/3rds scale wooden P08 Luger pistol with it's homemade leather holster. The pistol measures 6.5 inches in length, with all of the major details of the Luger replicated in wood, even adding a small Nazzy eagle on the right grip plate. Charming as it can be, the only flaw beyond normal wear and use is that the cardboard trigger guard is missing a one inch section of material. The holster matches the care and detail of the pistol, being constructed of thin leather, and including a spare magazine pouch with a snap closure. Adding to the over-the-top decoration of the pistol grip, is the backwards facing, black painted swastika on the holster flap. Certainly a one of a kind WWII relic.
