Original era manufacture. Beautiful multi-color silver wire and silk embroidery on a black velvet material. New Delhi makers label machine sewn to the inside edge, boasts of genuine gold and silver thread used in its construction.Simple snap closure button, the purse measures 5 x 8 inches closed, and open, 9 x 5 inches, with several small interior compartments. Light age and wear, really beautiful work to the embroidery. Many items of souvenir quality were produced in the CBI for sale to the soldiers and airmen stationed there, this is an exceptional example.
