Original era photography and manufacture. This is a nice photo and document grouping to an individual who served with the Eastern India Air Depot, India-Burma Air Service Command during WWII.The lot includes, two copies of the bound unit history of the Eastern India Air Depot, a copy of Yank's Magic Carpet handbook printed in Calcutta in 1945, a large matted photo of the Depot's band (he played the trombone), a large assortment of period b/w photographs depicting different aircraft including damaged examples, WWII US tanks and artillery, and a great little picture of a little boy wearing a WWI German Pickelhaube.All of the items are in sound condition, showing light handling and wear.
