Original era manufacture. All cotton construction, made of US Army issue shirt material, and in many ways, made quite similar to an oversize shirt.Four pockets, with a full adjustable waist belt, withwhite cotton pilot's wings, gold cotton US, and gold and white cotton winged prop emblem, all of which are directly embroidered into the cloth of the uniform.On the left shoulder is a theater made CBI shoulder sleeve insignia, which is secured to the shoulder by metal snaps, to allow for easy removal for laundering. On the right shoulder are additional snaps fora USSAF emblem which is now missing.The coat is very clean, exhibiting light wear and use, and is in about a size 38. Collector added captains shoulder rank on each epaulette, not contemporary to the tunic.
