Original era manufacture. US doughboy style aluminum helmet with a simple tan cloth liner and leather chinstrap. White cotton Civil Defense armband displaying the insignia for a Messenger. The reverse is named in two places to the same individual. Minor denting to the helmet shell, and soiling and a hole in the cloth armband. These were purchased together
