Original period manufacture. Worsted red wool small flag with yellow fringe edging on three sides. Double sided, with an elaborate wool felt rendition of the 55th's unit crest on each side. Flag measures 28 x 20 inches, including fringe. On the interior of the pole sleeve is a 1941 dated tag. Scattered mothing, including a dime size bite on the lower right center. Served with the Pineapple Army in Hawaii in the 1930's inactivated in 1944.
