Original era manufacture. This is a gen-u-ine souvenir of WWII because it says so right on the bottom of the ashtray! I have seen these offered for sale for years at flea markets, antique shops and military shows, we have owned and sold a few ourselves, seen them in different colors too. Produced by the Stoner Mfg Corp. of Aurora Illinois, using a real (DEWAT) 20 mm casing and faux projectile, which has been converted into a cigarette lighter, with the base serving as an ashtray. Normal age and wear, stands about 8 inches in height.
