Original era manufacture. A great looking, early production US Navy Mk2 utility knife by Kabar. Blade markedUSN MK2 on the obverse and KA-BAR on the reverse, blue finish, lightly service sharpened, no corrosion issues or chips. Thin stacked leather grip with a thick pommel and a rectangular blade tang. Early production stapled and sewn russett leather scabbard with the letters U.S.N. at the throat and below the pommel strap BOYT 43.
