Original era manufacture. A great looking early production US Navy Mk2 utility knife made by Kabar. Blade marked USN MK2 on the obverse and KA-BAR on the reverse, lightly service sharpened, no corrosion issues or chips, just honest wear and use. Thin stacked leather grip with a thick pommel and a circular blade tang. Early production stapled and sewn russett leather scabbard with the letters U.S.N. at the throat and below the pommel strap BOYT 43. Honest wear, classic WWII utility knife.
