Original period manufacture. Red silk like material with a yellow fringe around three sides of the guidon. Machine sewn yellow cotton emblems and numbers on both sides of the guidon. There is a single hole which penetrates both sides of the guidon, with two others which are restricted to one side. Since the guidon is made from two pieces of material sewn together, those holes sort of blend in fairly well. Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot tag inside the sleeve.
