Original era manufacture. A hexagon shaped enameled emblem, displaying a winged dragon on a field of blue. The medal is suspended from a yellow-blue-yellow silk ribbon, the colors of the US Army Chemical Corps.I haven't been able to identify the exact unit this represents, but can say that the medal was part of a recent collection purchase, of a US Army officer who served in the Chemical Corps during WWII.Unmarked presentation box displaying typical age and wear. This from Kip A. LindbergDirectorU.S. Army Chemical Corps Museum "the design is the same as theDUI for the 1st Separate Chemical Company, now the 22nd Chemical Battalion. Perhaps something akin to a veterans association?"
