Original period manufacture. Rough finished steel blade which measures 18 inches in length and is US Legitimus Collins 1942 proofed on the reverse ricasso. The blade is dark, factory sharpened with scattered areas of cleaned corrosion, and old sharpening. Black hard rubber or plastic grips secured by three steel rivets. Sound brown leather sheath with a plain surface and belt loop suspension. The leather shows honest wear and use but still doing its job. Stamped Schell Leather Goods 1942.
